About our product: FUNKS TG Plain TAIRABA (Snapper Tackle) 7.05oz The word "TAIRABA" originates from Japan from two words "Tai" which means Snapper Fish and "Raba" a shortened word from "KABURA" which means lure fishing. Some others say that "TAIRABA" means "Tai Lover" which means snapper lover. As the name suggests, TAIRABA fishing methods goes extremely well with catching Snapper. It many not be a common fishing gadget in the USA, so be the pioneer to master the TAIRABA fishing and make the other fisherman envious of your successful fishing trips! How to use TAIRABA: 1. Decorate beforehand the Tairaba Jigging Head (depending on the area where you fish, there could be certain colours the local fish are attracted to) using glitter, shiny waterproof stickers, resin, nail polish, etc... (See the photo page for suggested decorations) 2. On your fishing leader, thread in the decorated TAIRABA Jigging head (2oz~4oz range), and put a hook on the end of your fishing leader. Hook through a softlure on to the hook (scented softlure would be even better) and it's ready to cast in! Once the TAIRABA hit botom of the seafloor, reel in a 6.5 feet worth of line and start jigging. 3. Snapper are usually hunting for little fish between 6 feet to 9 feet from the seafloor. Best results would be achieved jigging in those depths. The Attractiveness of Solid Tungsten Tungsten Content 98% "Tungsten" means "heavy stone" in Swedish and it is 2.5 times heavier than iron and 1.7 times heavier than lead. The heaviness of the TUNGSTEN creates the Rapid Sinking move which attracts the Snappers. Sinks rapidly into the desired territory.
