EXPERIENCE
- Possess at least a Level 3 electrical qualification eg City & Guilds, ONC etc
- Experience in using Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel
- Experience in working within a busy office environment
- Experience with dealing with both internal and external customers
- Experience in working to deadlines and prioritising own workload
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work well under pressure and respond to changing demands
- Flexible to undertake a range of different tasks within the working day

Job description
- Build and retain positive and trusting relationships with prospective, new and existing clients
- Complete detailed sales visits and surveys to support the production of detailed and accurate quotes and handover of technical information to the Operations team
- Complete PQQ’s, tenders and quotes
- Respond to and manage enquiries relating to the above
- Liaise with the Procurement and Asset Administrator and approved suppliers to ensure we always obtain competitive quotes and excellent service from our supply chain
- Work closely with the Maintenance Operations Manager to appropriately direct resources and effectively plan for future requirements
- Work with the Networks Operations Support Manager to ensure the accurate collection of all client-related information, so it is handed over effectively and is accessible to all relevant parties
- Follow up on sales leads
- Liaise with the Networks Administration team to ensure the admin needs of the Business Development team are always covered, including periods of annual leave
- Work as a key member of the Networks Business Development team, learning and developing from the existing members of the team as part of the department’s succession plan
- Any other reasonable administrative and ad-hoc duties as requested by the line manager
