RJ Power Toast Another
Successful Tournament

It was game, set, match last fortnight as the Wimbledon Championships came to an end, marking another year courtside for the RJ Power team.

Our dedicated engineers Andrew Fitzgerald and Alan Ager (pictured) spent two weeks poised like coiled springs, ready to leap into action should any problems arise with the vast electrical distribution system.

The pair clocked up miles doing the rounds across the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, inspecting and monitoring the loads of all 20 substations.

Fortunately, no problems arose – thanks, in part, to the new equipment RJ Power have installed over the last two years as an upgrade to Wimbledon’s existing high- and low-voltage and SCADA systems.

RJ Power Estimator Kim Rich (also pictured) refused to let a few drops of rain dampen her spirits when she also popped in to join the engineers (and watch a spot of tennis).

With huge thanks to all involved both in the run-up to and during the tournament, who enabled a smooth-running process right through to the nail-biting Centre Court finals.
